Car Woes, Day 23

I'm waiting for a call back from my insurance company and expecting a call from the other insurance company. My car is moving along and may be finished this week (IhopeIhopeIhope). I'd like this phase of things to be over.

I think I'm in a mid-week slump. I have a ton of work to do and I really ought to go focus on it rather than writing stuff here.

Deeply saddened

I lost a friend today. She wasn't someone that I had ever met in person. I only knew her through the game City of Heroes. Her name was Kim and she lost her battle with Hodgkin's disease today. I think about the little struggles that we all go through and then look at the major battle Kim faced, that she faced with incredible courage and strength and grace. It makes everything else look so petty and small. I wish there was some tribute to her that I could make. I wish the loss of a friend didn't hurt so much.
