Dec. 28th, 2007

Yesterday there were four of us in the office and Marc (the sole attorney) let us leave at 1pm. Today there are five in the office and we're all hoping that Marc will declare the day finished at 1pm. He hasn't said anything yet.

I went out to Scriptorium last night and it was good. I turned in 3 completed scroll layouts all set up for award of arms scrolls. Plus the one I gave Eilidh makes four and that's the accomplishment I planned and hoped for in December. The scribal plan for January is to finish the achievement part of a scriptorium scroll for a Laurel award, start the layout for Selene's Pelican, and design a harp or dolphin template and then make four of them for scriptorium.

I'd also like to do some work on my sweetbag which has been sadly neglected.

I'm looking forward to having a week off (between a few vacation days and New Years, I'll have nine days off in a row.). That includes New Year's Eve, the Rose Bowl game, 12th Night, helping a friend with her garden and scriptorium. Maybe a lunch with with a friend and Sunday morning with my parents. I think that's more than enough scheduling as I want to continue the cleaning and work on the projects above.

That said....I'm ready to go home now and start all of that. :)

I just finished uploading the next batch of scroll photos to be captioned at http://caidscribe.myphotoalbum.com/albums.php

The next batch happens to be all scrolls by Eowyn Amberdrake who is the clear winner (so far) for most number of scrolls up on the gallery. :) There were 72 pictures in the Eowyn file. It will take me a while to caption them, but I invite Eowyn to make comments on some of them about her inspiration and experiences doing the scrolls. :)
