Busy weekend

aliskyeIt's not to bad at work today (at least the phone hasn't been ringing off the hook). I find I do a lot better when the office is quiet (soundwise). The crazy attorney is not cackling in her office, the odd guy in the cube next to mine (who isn't even part of our department) is quiet today (normally he talks very loudly on the phone and snickers like Snidely Whiplash's dog and he has the most obnoxious ring tone on his cell) and the IT guy in the office near me (also not part of our department) is not in. I just finished "Stacked" and have to go do some research-y stuff for Prison Break. Then see what else is in the stack. Revisions I think.
Home Front: I had the best of intentions for getting something done yesterday and instead found my self watching an encore performance of a new WB show called "Supernatural". I liked it. Okay, it was totally predictable, but the stars are cute (though perhaps not hawwt as some seem to require) and it was fun to watch. I haven't been watching a lot of TV lately but perhaps I'll plan to watch this.
SCA Front: I did a little bit of fingerloop braid for the shift I'm making (ties to close the front where I cut it waaaay to long). Lesson learned: Tie fingerloop braid to something sturdy, not a clip on lamp that will fall down and go boom.
Book Front: Still reading "The First Elizabeth" who is now Queen.
Weekend Front: Tonight the family is going to dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday and I guess mine again. :) Tomorrow is Football! Yes, I'm going to the game with my brand new season tickets. It will be an all day assault as we need to get there early for parking. I think I'll take some handwork. We'll be tailgating. It should be a blast. Sunday I must do laundry and then there is a LARP meeting.
