Boring day

I keep thinking I should be writing insightful essays of modern life or something but that seems like too much work.
Speaking of work, one of my favorite production people (we worked on Buffy, Still Life and the Inside together) is going to be working on Standoff which is a new 1 hour drama about hostage negotiators, so I'm pretty jazzed about that. It makes it easier to decide which of my 2 new one dramas to send out.
Not much on my agenda for today. I have some research to do for King of the Hill and that's it. I do want to get more of the scripts sent down to Central Files though. But I don't want to send off stuff that hasn't aired yet (which is pretty much all of my animation shows). Oh wait....I need to find the script for Standoff cuz I haven't read it yet.
In other news, I got my wonderstone last night. I swear I thought I told them to deliver it to my office, but the UPS guy showed up at home. It was pure luck that I was actually there, having left work early and skipped tai chi to go home and do laundry (which is still sitting sadly and wrinkly in the laundry basket.)
I hope to have a big life changing epiphany of mastering getting things done over the weekend.

Date: 2006-05-24 09:28 pm (UTC)I got the stuff from the Compleat Sculptor http://www.sculpt.com/
It took two weeks to get. The wonderstone was 3.99 a pound. I got 5 pounds and the shipping was about 8 dollars. It's lighter in color then the chunk that Medb has. I don't want to recommend it yet, until I cut off a chunk and carve it, which might be awhile, as I'm going to start with the piece that Medb gave me. It looks pretty good though. I'm excited. :)
Any sign of the pewter yet?
