Thanks for the info but I've been to Yosemite many many times and I'm familiar with the bear situation and the bear boxes and I'll be camping with my sister and her husband who are even more familiar with the park.

I'm expecting it will be less crowded then it used to be because they took out all the river campgrounds after the flood a few years ago.

I'm looking forward to hiking up to Vernal and Nevada Falls.

I can't wait!
