Home sweet home

Parties are great fun and the CoC class today (Albra taught one of her jewelry classes) was awesome, but it's nice to be home and to just curl up on the couch and relax.

I just friended you. I too make jewelry. Earings mostly, I guess. I have a pheasant full of feathers, well, I only have the feathers now. We gave away the pheasant. I made earings with them. Also I have a slew of road killed monarch butterflies, whose wings I'm making into earings.

I make buttons out of bone, too. So what are your ideas and what's CoC?

Hi Nancy :)

While I've taken a few jewelry classes from the wonderful Countess Albra, I'm not very good at it, though I find it very inspiring. Albra taught a Byzantine style of putting beads on wire and then linking them all together. It's very cool.

CoC is the Company of Clothiers which is an SCA costuming guild. (SCA=Society for Creative Anachronism which is a gigantic history club all over the world (but particularly in the US.)

I can see I have some googling in my future! SCA sounds interesting! I'm intrigued. I'm one of those people who thrives on new ideas of things to create!
