M.E. Day!
Okay, M.E. stands for Mutant Enemy! Today was the Mutant Enemy day at Fox, a fan rally in support of the writer's strike. I went and it was awesome! I finally got to meet Joss Whedon. I also talked to Nicholas Brendon and said hi to Ron Glass. I saw Ben Edlund, Jane Espenson, Eliza Dushku, Nathan Fillion, J. August Richards, Amy Acker and some other actors from Buffy and Serenity. I walked on the strike line for 4 hours and then we had a fan picnic at Cheviot Hills Park. Did I say it was amazing? It was.
I knew it was going to be cold so I want to bring some thing hot to eat (it was a pot luck) so I brought my little one burner stove and a pot, heated up hot water and had a bunch of soup packets. I didn't have a ton of customers :) but those that had soup really appreciated having something hot.
I talked to a number of the Browncoat fans (who are pretty awesome also). Fans in general, are mostly pretty amazing.
I'm totally beat, but it was totally worth taking a day off to participate in this.
Woot!!!!!

I'm seething with jealousy that you got to meet Joss Whedon.
Hope the writers realize how many people are on their side. Its most of us, I think. The producers are behaving exactly like the recording industry did when first faced with the internet. Stupid.
Anyway, glad you had fun!

Anyway....I talked about you on Friday. :) I met one of the composers for Buffy and Angel and told him how much I admire people who write music (you!) and about your bands and instruments you play and stuff. His name is Douglas Romayne. He was cute too. :) But not Nathan Fillion Hot! :)
