Moving along
Oct. 26th, 2006 09:53 amSCA Front: I finished the scroll I'm working on last night (Pelican scroll for Eileen Rahel de Pico) except for some touch-ups which I will do tonight and the signature lines and seal space. Yay! The next one is for Jason, the Baron of Angels, which will match the one I did for Morgaine. It shouldn't take too long as the design work is already done. Next up is Selene's Pelican scroll which at this moment (because I'm on a roll) will also be Gottengen Model Book style. I have an idea in my head what it will look like like. The biggest thing to design will be the arms and achievement and I'm thinking right now, the arms and achievement will be inside the initial cap with acanthus leaves flowing across the top and down the side from that. The plan would be to get Jason's done for 12th Night and Selene's for June Coronation. After that, I have an idea for Laertes Pelican scroll and Renata's....what ever it is, but Italian white vine and jewels.
Health Front: I walked yesterday morning and today. Today it was rather chilly. It's still tough getting up early when the sun isn't even up yet. I've been much better that the last three days in following both the spirit and the law of the flex plan, so I feel pretty on track. I bought a crock pot last night and Joe made a recommendation for a cook book that hopefully I'll go look for today at lunch.
Work Front: I did Standoff and Singles Table yesterday. I need to do Prison Break today and catch up on a lot of revisions. Oh and I did King of the Hill also on Tuesday. So much work, so little incentive. :)
More SCA: I need to prep stuff for classes I'm teaching over the weekend, starting with sending Tonwen (who I am co-teaching with) the not-really class notes that I've been using for the beginning scribe class. Then find all the materials for the packets for the layout class. And boy am I glad I decided to just do one of the layout classes I've done before rather than a new one! Next time though, I think I want to do a Gottengen Model book layout class (will need a new handout for that) and a Gottengen Model book painting class, which I've done before but I need to update the class notes for that.
Okay...time to get with it. And! there is a new Supernatural episode tonight.
Shout out to all: If you aren't familiar with the show, I have the DVD's and would be delighted to show you the pilot episode so you can see how wonderful the show is and start watching it. Eowyn? Bueller? :)
