November is AEDM

November is Art Every Day Month, an artistic challenge for those who want to do more art-y stuff than writing (i.e. NaNoWriMo). I've done Nanowrimo but decided ultimately that I'm more interested in artsy/crafty stuff than writing. So here we are.

I did an icon for the month (I may do more, my original idea requires more computer manipulation skills than I could muster last night or actually than I possess :))

Some of my projects will take more than a day to do, but I'm counting progress on them. Some of what I plan to do is more craft than art, but the rules on AEDM are pretty lax. It's all good.

Tonight I'll probably work on some embroidery.

AEDM

Embroidery was a fail. Can't decide on next fill pattern for needlebook. I didn't like the one I started, which I've now ripped out three times.

I'm thinking about starting my first pair of knitted socks instead of the mittens. The sock pattern apparently teaches a stitch necessary for the mittens. Scary!
