Getting back to Normal?
I sure hope so.
It's a new week and that's always a promise of a fresh start.
This past weekend was Collegium Caidis which has always been one of my favorite events. It was held in Lyondemere at a site that is pretty close for me. I took four classes and enjoyed them, especially Eowyn's Elizabethan Metal Thread embroidery class where I think I'm finally understanding that dratted plaited braid stitch. (If I'm smart, which is doubtful, I'll take some stitchery stuff to GWW and practice it). I also took Elizabethan Commonplaces with Giles and Maggie Ros. They are a riot and have tons of info, but the class could have been a little more focused, but then again, I got most of my questions answered and it doesn't get better than that. The chip carving class was interesting but do I really need another hobby? The fourth class I really wanted to take was canceled so I took Arianna's German costume class instead. It didn't cover as late period as I hoped, but getting to see some of Arianna's costumes up close was interesting and useful.
Sunday was the Scriptorium which was a success. Not as many people as I would have liked, but I really do think we got a lot done. (Especially me as I talked to Luigseach and Brianna and Eowyn and Giuseppe and have some ideas and plans for the future.)
When I got home I was tired but tried to pick up the house a little, so the kitchen is in better shape and the living room is also pretty good. I'm caught up on mail (except for a couple of things). The bathroom is clean and I did find a spot of floor in the bedroom.
If you read this far, let me know. :) Am I totally boring the pants off everyone? Does anyone care? Would you rather hear about TV shows? I know I have a fair number of people on my friend list and I do (mostly) comment on a lot of them, but I don't seem to get a lot of comments in return. Makes me curious.

I don't comment on lots of entries after I looked at my stats and realized I have, as of today, made over 2400 and gotten less than 1000. Granted this is in almost two years of journaling.

But I've been unable to get to a computer for more than a few minutes for the past month and a half, and have only started the journalling thing in August. So I will likely comment more. But just now, I gotta leave home and go back to work (alas!)

Mean, cruel, and all that other stuff that you told us to call you on Sunday, perhaps... but never boring. :-)
