I should be getting a call from the auto body place today. Unfortunately I left the bag with all the phone numbers at home. I did get a copy of the police report which was less enlightening than I expected.

It says the Driver 1 (the at fault driver) said she is going through a divorce and gets migraines that impair her judgment. She said "I don't know what happened. I must have not been paying attention." Well Doh!!! She was cited for a VC 22107: "No person shall turn a vehicle from a direct course or move right or left upon a roadway until such movement can be made with reasonable safety and then only after the giving of an appropriate signal in the manner provided in this chapter in the event any other vehicle may be affected by the movement." The car she was driving was a rental.

Work Front: It's busy. They keep telling us there is no room for employees in other sections and sticking people in our area that aren't part of our department. So, they've moved this guy into the cube next to me. And he's *loud*. And he snorts. He's driving me insane. It's really hard to concentrate and I'm supposed to be reading scripts. I *so* miss my office on the 8th Floor. *whimper*

Home Front: I cleared more things off the patio yesterday and will try and move the camping equipment into the kitchen alcove starting to night.

SCA Front: I ripped the sleeves off the mock-up smock last night and need to get them in the correct place. (Yes, aliens did alter the pattern some how).

VC=Vehicle Code. The fact that it was a rental and she was under the rental company's insurance is a wrinkle I don't even want to think about. It would be nice if they pulled her driver's license entirely, but I'm not counting on that.

Unless she was dropped by her insurance company, or they don't cover while driving a rental she should be covered by her own *and* the optional rental company insurance (assuming she paid for it).
