I totally want to go home now. I have to setup the new modem so I can cancel the old internet service. And I want to hit the comic book store on the way home. And I need to get to Home Depot for some stuff. And I want to start packing for the camping trip. And....I just don't want to be at work today. And my back hurts. No idea why. It felt fine while I took a walk this morning.
So ugh.
I went to a lecture yesterday done by Kenneth Brown, way cute designer. Lisa was supposed to meet me there but she couldn't get out of a meeting at work and missed the entire thing. Bummer. It was geared more to interior design professionals but it was quite interesting and Brown is an excellent and funny speaker.
Afterwards I went home and watched Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy (courtesy of Netflix) which was very funny. It's been so long since I read the book that I was vague on the plot line but I did recognize my favorite phrase. "Time is an illusion, and lunchtime doubly so".
