Pewter Casting

LOL. To all my loyal readers, I did not do anything stupid today. The comment in my LJ earlier was just a reminder.
I cut two pieces of stone today and started sanding them. I didn't cut off any fingers or get anything in my eyes today. :) I do have a filter mask (and the stuff does kick up a lot of dust.)
I'm using African wonderstone (which apparently isn't a soap stone). It's grey, very grey, but
marymont's idea of using it as a pigment is interesting and I scooped some into a plastic tube.
All is well. :)
