No pic progress report

Okay...obviously I need to mess with the pictures a lot more to get them to a proper size.

Anyway....carving the mold all day. Still not done. I think I hold the tools too tightly and my fingers cramp up and then I have to stop too much.

I have made a lot of progress, but I really need to get it to the pour stage tonight. And I really would like to do some other things as well.

Adventures in pewtering

Things I have learned:

Drilling into stone (even wonderstone) is scary.

Drilling into stone (even wonderstone) makes the stone hot. Very hot.

Working on the patio with the screen open encourages things to fly into the house.

Bees like lamps.

I'm afraid of bees.

Baking soda is not a great substitute for talcum powder.

Baking soda goes away if you blow on it.
