Back At Work
Jun. 26th, 2006 10:39 amTitle says it all. I'm home from vacation. There is (of course) tons to do at work, but I'll manage to catch up somehow. Every little thing needs to be looked at and dealt with but I guess that is why they call it work.
The trip was fun, but sometimes stressful (with seven people). Sometimes I think that more than 4 people shouldn't try and travel together. That's a lot of personalities and a lot of potential conflict.
One funny thing about the trip was seeing my mom with a cell phone. She never really wanted one, but dad finally got her one. She was on the phone (I swear to God) more than anyone, including my niece who is 22 and my nephew who is 19. Unfortunately, mom hasn't quite figured out that she needs to keep the phone in a handy spot (she was constantly digging in her purse for it) and she needs to learn to walk and talk at the same time.
