Worldcon Report!
Aug. 28th, 2006 11:56 amHey There! Reporting to my loyal audience (no?) of my Worldcon adventures.
Worldcon was a total blast! I really thought it would be not that fun (as Boston was rather dull) but I had a fabulous time. I went to some great! panels, enjoyed the Masquerade, went to the Hugo awards, went to parties, drank at parties and at the bar, ran into SCA friends and convention friends, bought artwork and jewelry, stayed at a wonderful hotel (thanks to a wonderful friend!!!) and it was all great.
A lot of the panels I went to were television oriented. One was on Television show runners which was quite interesting. While the scheduled speakers changed drastically, I finally got to meet Tim Minear who's shows The Inside, Wonderfalls, Firefly, Angel, etc. I've worked on. He sorta knew who I was and he was nice and extremely funny. (And a very good speaker.)
More later if anyone cares. :)
