from an hour walk. I figured it was probably about 3 miles. I hadn't planned to go quite that long, but I kept going a few blocks further to go down streets I hadn't been down before. I found an elementary school I didn't even know was there and a different tract of houses.

I'm not sure what my plan for the day is. I spent the last couple of days moving furniture around the living room and moving the computer. (An adventure in itself) But now the rest of the house and the living room is even messier than before. So, cleaning is a big priority. I also bought a new printer yesterday and I need to set that up. I'm just not quite sure where it's going to go now.

I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I'm down another pound. I can't figure out why I'm sticking to this program when I couldn't do it before. (Okay....I really do know. I'm going to meetings and weighing in every week. That accountability makes a big difference to me.) But I'm still surprised in some ways. I made a habit of the walking and even though Worldcon was a big interruption, I got right back to it when I got home. I have more problems with the eating. I still need to be eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water. I'm not doing as much binge eating though. I feel much more in control. I have a package of cookies in the house that have lasted about two weeks. Previously the same package would have been gone in 5-6 days.

I think I need to buy a lamp. This corner is pretty dark.

Okay....time to get with it here.

In my continued obsession to re-trace the steps of the show (and get more exercise), I've been tracking the driving distances between stops on the route of our Supernatural hunters and and tracking my own exercise time. A friend, however, pointed out that I left off some miles last time. To quote: "Phantom Traveler opens with a slow climb up and over Ackles' ass, which is worth a Tour De France ride over the Alps". :) Anyway, our heroes travel to Toledo, Ohio (which is close to Kitanning, PA) in Bloody Mary and then on to St. Louis, MO in Skin. Here we go:

Palo Alto, CA to Jericho, CA (Sub: Jericho Creek) (Pilot)
- Travel time 3 hours, 5 minutes
Jericho, CA (Sub: Jericho Creek) back to Palo Alto, CA (Pilot)
- Travel time 3 hours, 5 minutes (Total 6 hours, 10 minutes)
Palo Alto, CA to Blackwater Ridge, CO (Sub: Lost Creek Wilderness Area, CO) (Wendigo)
- Travel time 19 hours, 30 minutes (Total 25 hours, 40 minutes)
Blackwater Ridge, CO (Sub: Lost Creek Wilderness Area, CO) to Lake Manitoc, WI (Sub: Manitowish Lake, WI) (Dead In The Water)
- Travel time 18 hours, 42 minutes. (Total 44 hours, 12 minutes)
Lake Manitoc, WI (Sub: Manitowish Lake, WI) to Kitanning, PA (Phantom Traveler)
- Travel time 13 hours, 56 minutes (Total 58 hours, 8 minutes)
Side trip to Nazareth, PA and back to Kitanning, PA (Phantom Traveler)
- Travel time 9 hours, 32 minutes (Total 67 hours, 40 minutes)
Kitanning, PA (Phantom Traveler) to Toledo, OH (Bloody Mary)
- Travel time 4 hours, 7 minutes (Total 71 hours, 47 minutes)
Toledo, OH (Bloody Mary) to St. Louis, MO (Skin)
- Travel time 10 hours, 20 minutes (Total 82 hours, 7 minutes)

As of Saturday, I have exercised 82 hours, 26 minutes which puts me (virtually) heading out of St. Louis on to the next stop of our adventures. I've also lost about 18 lbs so far. :) Come join my road trip!
