I don't know if it's an allergy thing (that's what I thought last night) or if I'm coming down with a cold (which isn't fair because I already had one!) but my non-drowsy antihistamine is making me wanna do that head-desky thing. And I think my watch stopped. At least it seems like it's been 3:00 for about 2 hours now.
I went to Collegium this weekend and had a great time. The event seemed under attended but there were some awesome classes (none of which I took :) Lots of cooking and knitting and box-making and metal work and more and Giuseppe's dance class which sounded amazing.
I had no one pre-registered in the Practical Scribing layout class and ended up with two students (who were late, so we didn't get as much done as we could have). The Practical Scribing Basic class ended up with about 8 students (one of which visibly fell asleep in front of me. :) Go Aliskye :)
Scriptorium was fun though only a small percentage of the people hanging out in the room were doing scribal stuff. (Aside: The biggest incentive to losing weight should be getting small enough to sit comfortably in a little middle school desk.) It wasn't a great room for a scriptorium but a few people got some stuff done and I got my scroll approved and turned in. (Big sigh of relief.)
I had dinner with Medb and Rick and JT (we were all staying at the same motel) and that was fun. Medb and I drove back together and had dinner in Irvine I guess it was. We have a fabulous conversation all the way back and brainstormed some stuff. :)
It's gonna be another busy week and I need to get a hold of Jen and find out if we are doing a haunted house tomorrow or not. I don't even have a pumpkin.
