I have reached

the talking to myself portion of the day.

I am quite ready to begin (the very busy) weekend. I have a game tonight, SCA event tomorrow and a Pelican meeting on Sunday. And one of the closet rods in the Closet of Doom broke again. And it's double XP weekend on COH.

I have 5 pilots on my desk and no start dates. I don't really know where to begin, but I've decided I'm not thinking about it until Monday. I just want to clean my desk off today in anticipation of Evil Pilot Season. (EPS?)

I took a long walk at lunch and then got Lemon Chicken and rice at the mall. I ate half and will have half for dinner. I can have 1 and only 1 cookie later when I get home. Constant Vigilance.

I also walked this morning, though only for 20 minutes (about a mile). I have to retrain myself to get up before 7am so I can walk 2 miles in the morning. I also joined the gym at work and have my orientation on Tuesday.

My hat isn't done yet mostly because my sewing machine decided to stop working. I'm sewing the thing by hand but it's not going quickly.

Tick tock. 3 hours to go.

Work Fu

Did I say I have 5 pilots to read? I really meant 8 pilots to read. This is my own fault mostly. I usually wait until either there is a firm start day or the script gets magically delivered. But I decided to be all proactive and ask the attorneys and development people if there were scripts yet. And there are. In the meantime, I just got the next script for My Name is Earl which doesn't shoot until a week from Monday and the next script for 24, which fortunately doesn't shoot until Feb 20. I should be getting the next (and last) Standoff next week and the next Prison Break sometime soon. Oh yeah and Family Guy starts up again in a couple of weeks. If I wasn't so busy this weekend, I'd take a couple of scripts home with me to read over the weekend.
