Sunday Morning

aliskyeI'm kinda sleepy this morning. Went to Angels Anniversary tourney yesterday and had a wonderful time. I sat with the Inn of the Crimson Spade and I'm so proud of Raphael, Diego and Elisheva. They did a fabulous job of setting up the Inn, providing games, providing food and running a chess and backgammon tournament. (Okay....so it's not so bad either that I won the backgammon contest....lucky in dice....unlucky in.....:)
The day was blessedly cool (pretty unusual for Angeles in September) with the Sun only peeking out once during (the long) opening court. Some people got awards, I forget which, but that's always fun to see. Colin and Muriath stepped up as Vicar and Vicaress of Dun Or (to become Baron and Baroness) and I'm delighted for them and think they will do a good job.
I looked in the mirror and Great Western War is closer than I thought!!!!! I need to evaluate what outfits I have to wear. A little hard because (while I've been cleaning and decluttering in other parts of the condo) the bedroom is a disaster with a big pile of stuff taken out of the closet and heaped on the floor. I really need one new outfit (skirt and bodice and shift) and I think I'll be okay with old stuff for the rest. (Or I could lose 30 pounds in a month (less likely) and I'd fit some old costumes :)
Today though I'm not planning a heroic attack on the planning lists. A little cleaning, a little sewing, and a little game playing. Thats that plan!
