The day has not quite gone as planned.
I got up and went for a walk (2.1 miles for those keeping track at home :). Then I was going to run some errands. I bought gas and went over to a friend's house to check on her kitties while she is out of town. Big kittie - check, little kittie - ch....little kittie? Little black kittie? I searched the house (which isn't that big). Both cats where there when I checked on Thursday and I know there were both inside. Finally, 10 minutes later I found the little black kittie under the bed with the help of a flashlight. On to the next errand!
So I jump in my car. And start the engine. And alarming sounds ensue. Dead battery. Thank god for Triple A! They came out in jig time and have a new service where they can replace the battery on the spot. It probably cost a little more but I didn't have to have the car towed somewhere and I didn't have to wait all day at an auto place.
So, on to UCLA where I dropped off some old chemical cleaners and bug sprays and an old vacuum cleaner. Yay for the recycling place at UCLA! It's easy and the guys are nice.
Food shopping at TJ's and I'm home. But a little tired and behind my internal schedule for the day.
