There's a light bulb out in the kitchen and I've been too wiped out from this cold and stress at work to change it. *sigh*

At least one of the issues at work is done, and as far as I can tell I've gone as far as I can on the remaining one. I need to sit down and go over a couple of things with the project attorney tomorrow.

Tonight was the company X-mas party which they almost canceled because of the strike. Um....they probably should have canceled it. It was pretty sad compared to some of the previous years. The food was In-'n-Out Burger (which I like), pizza, Pink's hot dogs and corn on the cob (which was good) and desert. There were tables to set up for gambling and recycling cans and water coolers instead of bottled water. It was a weird mixed message. I stayed for about 40 minutes then headed home.

I still have a cough and a stuffed nose and I'm tired of it. I bought drugs and hopefully *fingers crossed* I'll be able to get some sleep tonight. At least I'm off on Friday.

I look forward to a nice relaxing day home and then an rpg in the evening. Saturday is an SCA demo which I'll be at at least half the day, but I have plans later. Sunday I may go to the beach with the parents which I haven't done in ages.

What a strange menu for a Christmas party! I can't imagine buying fast food for one! What ever happened to people bringing homemade cookies? I guess it's just the culture difference! You must be in a big city.

The beach? Sigh. We're in the middle of a blizzard with about a foot of new snow.

This was a big corporate X-Mas party, so they brought in In 'n' Out burger trucks and the rest of it. It's usually catered by a higher level of er, catering :)

Snow! The only snow we get in Los Angeles stays up in the mountains, not down here on the flats. (I'm about 3 miles from the beach.)
