Wet!

So I went for a walk at lunch time.  It wasn't raining, you see.  So I figured a quick 20 minute walk up to the mall and back, no problem.  But then I went to the book store and then I went to the Container Store and $10.08 later I was heading back to the office.  And it started to rain.  Just a trickle and then it started coming down hard.  40 feet from my building it stopped but I was soaked.  Kinda fun.  I haven't walked in the rain recently.

So who watches Project Runway?  What did you think of the denim challenged.  I loved some of the outfits.  I need to redo my wardrobe.  It's time to stop wearing jeans to work all the time.  I need a look!

At work I'm still rewriting the rights clearance report I (thought) I finished last week.  I'm not moving along very fast on it.

At home I haven't gotten much done the last week or so.  The place isn't a mess, but it needs daily pick-up and I haven't.  I'm all caught up on laundry for once.  I need to seriously start decluttering the kitchen.  That's my next "zone" I think.  And I desperately need new curtains in the living room.  And other things.

SCA wise, I was planning on going to Unbelted this weekend but it's likely it will be rained out.  Bummer.  My alternate plan is to work on scrolls and embroidery and watch Windtalkers and LA Story my current Netflix DVDs.

Later

It'll be sad if GU unbelted is rained out. But.. I'll admit there's a part of me hoping it does if just for the chance to stay home and do stuff at home! :)

I LOVE Project Runway. The jeans challenge was good--I think they kicked off the right person.

I have been watching Project Runway for several seasons. This year I have not gotten a favorite designer. I sort of like Sweet P but it is her personality more than her designs. I agree they kicked off the wrong person. Having problems with time management is a major issue with this show.

LOL Aliskye, I actually ended up taking a walk in the rain last night and really liked it. Though I did my walk on purpose so I was geared up in a rain coat and boots, etc. Still I got completely soaked and was frozen by the time I got home. I loved it. *happy smile*

OMG I love Project Runway! Yay for someone else who watches it too! I really liked Christian's outfit, I wish I had legs like those models, I'd totally wear jeans like that. They looked great on her. I'm glad that girl who lost is gone though, I always thought she was a bit of a snob.

I know what you mean about needing a new look. Sigh....I feel the same way.

I love Project Runway! I liked most of them. I thought Sweet P and Ricky's were the nicest. I wish I could get away with wearing that kind of stuff! Sometimes I think about what I'd do. I actually would have ended up with something kind of like Sweet P's last night.

Wait a minute - you went to a book store and to The Container Store and only spent $10? Wow! That's way more restraint than I ever have.

I need a look too. I cut a foot off my hair and dyed it to cover the gray and *nobody* has noticed.

Have you checked the Bravotv.com site. Tim's comments are soo interesting and it is interesting to get Michael and Nina's opinion. I keep looking for clothes I would actually wear. I forget high fashion has nothing to do with me no matter what I way. For most of the styles like Aliskye I would need to be taller. I like Laura and the winner of season 2 clothes better.

I'm still watching Project Runway. I, too, enjoy Chris. Can't stand Christian. Have not yet watched the denim challenge as I had a little craft class tonight. It's recorded on TiVO and I'm about to go watch it.

No such thing as a rained out event in An Tir. However, this weekend's event is sort of indoors...in a large equestrian arena. It's still going to be very cold...layers of wool and still need insulated underwear! It's been in the 20's at night this week.

I've not gone to an event in years but am going to this as someone I know is being elevated.
