So I went for a walk at lunch time. It wasn't raining, you see. So I figured a quick 20 minute walk up to the mall and back, no problem. But then I went to the book store and then I went to the Container Store and $10.08 later I was heading back to the office. And it started to rain. Just a trickle and then it started coming down hard. 40 feet from my building it stopped but I was soaked. Kinda fun. I haven't walked in the rain recently.
So who watches Project Runway? What did you think of the denim challenged. I loved some of the outfits. I need to redo my wardrobe. It's time to stop wearing jeans to work all the time. I need a look!
At work I'm still rewriting the rights clearance report I (thought) I finished last week. I'm not moving along very fast on it.
At home I haven't gotten much done the last week or so. The place isn't a mess, but it needs daily pick-up and I haven't. I'm all caught up on laundry for once. I need to seriously start decluttering the kitchen. That's my next "zone" I think. And I desperately need new curtains in the living room. And other things.
SCA wise, I was planning on going to Unbelted this weekend but it's likely it will be rained out. Bummer. My alternate plan is to work on scrolls and embroidery and watch Windtalkers and LA Story my current Netflix DVDs.

Date: 2008-01-25 12:15 am (UTC)OMG I love Project Runway! Yay for someone else who watches it too! I really liked Christian's outfit, I wish I had legs like those models, I'd totally wear jeans like that. They looked great on her. I'm glad that girl who lost is gone though, I always thought she was a bit of a snob.
I know what you mean about needing a new look. Sigh....I feel the same way.

Date: 2008-01-25 02:12 am (UTC)Indeed! Planned walking in the rain is better (usually) than unplanned walking in the rain.
I wasn't a fan of Victoria (or however it is spelled) and didn't mind seeing her go. Boy howdy, would I like to look like any of those models. Or at least be taller. :)

Date: 2008-01-27 06:40 pm (UTC)Yeah planning is much better and as a matter of fact I am planning on going walking in the rain today. It's supposed to really come down and I can't wait to get my boots on and go splashing in puddles. I'm such a child sometimes. :o)
Project Runway is my one guilty pleasure of reality tv and I love it. Yeah I wouldn't mind looking like some of those models or at lest be a little taller. Don't know if I'd want to be as tall as some of them. LOL.
Hope you're having a good weekend!

Date: 2008-01-25 06:43 am (UTC)No such thing as a rained out event in An Tir. However, this weekend's event is sort of indoors...in a large equestrian arena. It's still going to be very cold...layers of wool and still need insulated underwear! It's been in the 20's at night this week.
I've not gone to an event in years but am going to this as someone I know is being elevated.
