Sunday Morning

I went to an SCA wedding yesterday and a small tournament in honor of the wedding couple. It was held in a (huge) backyard belonging to the bride's parents (or grandparents...I wasn't quite sure). It was a lovely day, close to the beach and cool. A beautiful setting for a wedding, good company, good food, good conversations. I quite enjoyed myself but think I got a little too much sun.

Today I'm going to putter about and take it easy, but my plan is to make sure the house is cleaner at the end of the day than at the beginning of the day. I have to also get laundry done and I'd like to get this shift cut out.

I'm also going to do some blackwork embroidery on it but I decided it's going to be simple and just free-handed.

New Tech

It's all new to me. So, I spent the day, as I planned, puttering. The place is marginally cleaner than I started so that's good. I did laundry and yay! I put it all away. No laundry cubes for this week.

I also worked on the design for blackwork I want to use for collar and cuffs on a new shift. I tried taking pics with the digital camera but they didn't come out that great. Now to see if I can link one of the pics here.
