Car Woes, Day 2
Jul. 26th, 2005 09:31 amWell things are looking up actually. I rented a car this morning, a red Ford Malibu. It feels weird after driving my Honda CRV for four years. I'm having a time figuring out where all the normal controls are but the biggest trauma has been trying to find a good radio station.
I also got a call from the insurance claims person this morning and she was *very* nice. She explained things and will get a copy of the police report and send an appraiser to the auto body shop and get things started. I feel much better. I might have to pay the deductible if the at fault driver has insurance but only until they can get the money from her insurance company. If she is uninsured that gets waived.
Work Front: Revisions on "24" and some research stuff to do for "Kitchen Confidential". Otherwise, not a lot on my desk.
Home Front: I need to get back to the cleaning routine. I.E. Doing the daily stuff.....daily. :)
SCA Front: Not sure. I need to find out what the next big thing is that I need to be doing something for. Otherwise, I still have a couple of articles to write and work to be done on the database. I did send in a note to the CP to remind people about the Scriptorium at Collegium and also to remind everyone that if they want a scroll they need to request it in writing. I decided that needs to be done quarterly. I also need to send in a list of scribes who completed scrolls at Coronation.
