This and That

I'm thinking I really want to be home today doing something else. I really really need to clean my house. It's starting to be not only an embarrassment, but a hindrance to life and limb. The living room isn't too bad (not counting the poor over jammed bookcases). I could clean up most of it in about an hour. The bedroom though is a mondo disaster area. Piles of junk and clutter.

Jennifer is supposed to be going to a Harry Potter premiere tonight and wanted to borrow the house robe that Angelina gave me last year. I've been looking for it for months, tearing the bedroom closet apart to no avail. For some reason I looked in the front closet today, where I keep pretty much nothing but jackets and there it was. It had slipped off the hanger and on to the floor. So Jen was supposed to pick it up at 8:15 this morning. Haha. A college student being somewhere by 8:15 in the morning? Needless to say that didn't happen. I told she could come and pick it up from me at work but I haven't heard anything further.

I have a lunch with my boss today.

Can I go home now?
