Another day....
Jan. 30th, 2006 10:32 amIt's happy Monday at work. :) No, really. Well, okay. I supposed any given weekend is better than any given work day, but my schedule doesn't look too bad. It's mostly getting caught up on revisions and things. There is nothing urgent which makes for a more relaxing day.
The weekend was nice. I got several things done that I wanted to do, enjoyed the CoC meeting very much and played a little CoH.
My hat is off to Astra and Angelina (especially Angelina) for the 7-month CoC costume project plan. I watched Angelina meet with nearly everyone at the meeting and go over what they want costume they want to do, help them find source material and come up with an idea. For me, she helped focus in on design elements for the Elizabethan that I want to do. (I have my fabric already, and now have a better idea what I want do make.). And she pointed everyone in the direction of their next step. I think this is going to be a very exciting year for costume. :) And the cake was excellent!
I talked to Gerhart and Medb about doing another pewter casting weekend. (I love those guys!) And talked to Gerhart about my solo casting experience last month. He (as usual) had some good advice, and I'm eager to start my next project.
The house didn't get as clean as I wanted (and I ended up with a big pile of fabric tossed on the floor while looking for the stuff I want to use for my CoC project) and the next three nights are busy.
Tonight: Game night
Tomorow: Tai chi
Wed.: Project night with Cat (I need to decide what I want to take)
Okay....time to get with it.
