What a Weekend!

This weekend was one of those double packed, no rest at all, weekends.

Friday night I was still finishing up scrolls for Lyondemere Anniversary and trying to get stuff packed up for Saturday.  I kinda failed on the last and got up in the morning to finish and was later on site then I planned.  By the time I got on site the Baronial pavilion was all set up (and the army of chairs was out. :)  I felt chagrined.

Weekend part 2

Yesterday I slept in a bit (I was totally exhausted), got up around 8:30 and puttered until 10:30.  I went to the Pelican Meeting and got there are 11:30 I think.  We had a *big* agenda and went through it in record speed, but still gave each item a fair hearing I think.  The council has fine-tuned some of the discussion procedures over the years and it really does help.  The deadlines to get letters in will be published.  I need to get a better pictures of myself up on the Pelican website.

Afterward I went over to a party for a little bit and that was very pleasant.

Then I went home and planned to spend the rest of the weekend playing CoH because it was double xp weekend!!  (so now you know what a *major* sacrifice I made!  :)  I gave up DOUBLE XP WEEKEND to do SCA stuff. :)  When I finally logged in, the server with most of my toons was full!  Totally full.  Sigh, so I started a new toon on a different server and then went back to Virtue and hour later and finally got on.  I hooked up with a PUG 3 levels higher than me and died and died, but it was fun and I had no debt when I logged off.  

So, earlier I was looking for a better picture of me online for the Pelican website and I noticed that 90% of the pictures I could find........I'm wearing the exact same thing.  Oy!  So I think I've sorta promised me self that the next event I go to, I'm going to have some new clothes!  I also think I'm not doing anything SCA in August.  (Not protesting or anything, I've got a couple of mundane things to do, and the two events I would probably go to are  scheduled the same days. )  Then in September there are a bunch of events I want to go to, and then it's October and GWW!  So, free time in August needs to be sewing and working on war stuff and scribal things.
