Whatta Weekend!

I've returned to work to rest from the weekend. It was jam-packed.
Friday night was the first day of the CoV headstart so I logged on, made my evil villain, EbonyQueen, a Ninja/Poison Mastermind, teamed up with some friends and after some problems getting into the same instance, finally teamed up and did some evil.
Saturday was the USC-Washington State football game, which entailed getting up much earlier than I do during the week, cuz we had to get there by 8 am for a 12:30 pm game (don't ask). We tailgated breakfast with bagels and lox and cream cheese, walked over to campus, went to the store and then kicked the base of the lamppole on the way back to the Coliseum,. Afterwards we went to Phillipe's for dinner (along with half the stadium it seemed :)
Sunday was Baron's Bardic, Bash and BBQ which was a wonderful event. It was held at Calle Mayor middle school, where two of our members are teachers. I didn't have to slep gear. I mostly sat and talked to people and did some knitting. Medb showed me a new way of casting on, which I hope I got. Or at least hope I can do when she isn't watching. :)
Sunday night I was beat after the event and went home and played a little more CoV.
Work Front: Should be a fairly easy week it looks like. I've got a few shows starting but it seems like they are all spaced out enough that I won't have a crunch doing them at once. The new boss started today and she brought bagels and stuff. I think she's gonna be great. I'm the only one in my department who wore any semblance of a costume today. I have this pseudo-sorta Jedi robe thing, so I threw that on, added a belt over some beige and brown ordinary clothes and brought my light saber. Instant costume.
SCA Front: I need to majorly go over my project list. And after watching Eowyn and Angelina working on their sweetbags, I really really want to get back to work on mine. I need to clean out my embroidery bag. I seem to be missing a spool of gold thread. Then the next few things are Coronation (have to decide what to wear), Black Rose ball (ditto) and then Winter Weekend.
Home Front: My place is a holy mess. I don't know quite how it got this bad, so I have to work on that as well.
Writing Front: I signed up for the Nanowrimo thingy, so I need to work on that as well. I've got this fantasy novel idea in my head but really only the opening scene and a few behind the scenes concepts.
Health Front: I got up early enough to actually go for a walk this morning. Not a long walk, but none the less, I got up, got dressed, went out side and did it. I started a new exercise challenge on the Lyondemere off topic list, so hopefully that will be motivation enough. I need to restart WW on line this week as well.

Date: 2005-11-01 06:04 am (UTC)Good luck on the NaNoWriMo thingie. I don't think I'm going to make it to midnight to start it. Gotta sleep before then. Maybe I will just to put in a few words to start it right.

Date: 2005-11-01 05:45 pm (UTC)Yes! I want to finish one side of the sweetbag. Before this weekend I intend to finish one of the flowers. (But I brought my knitting to do at council meeting tonight as that is more easily transportable).
