Sandcastle in the Sand

I've been meaning to blog more but there never seems to be a lot of time these days for more than a quick Facebook page.

I think I'm realy missing writing longer posts though. For a time in my life I was getting up early to write a journal and getting up early to exercise. Now, I'm staying in bed absolutely as long as possible. I need to change this. I really do love the early morning hours, when the day is rich with possibilty and not dragged down with reality.

Sunday I spent a good long time at the beach with what has become a yearly ritual, building a sandcastle. I've done it by myself, I've done it with a bunch of relatives, but mostly my niece Jennifer and I do it together.

This year we both wanted to try a new technique for stacking up the sand and Jennifer actually made a sketch of what she wanted to build. I think it's one of the best we've ever done.

I'd like to try and get out to do this more than once a year.
