Tis the season still

aliskyeWent to the last of the work related holiday parties on Sunday, at my boss' house which was a first for me. The guests were her old department and new department and we didn't mix much. I talked mostly to the wife of one of the assistants who is really nice (both the wife and the assistant) and the incredibly good-looking husband of one of our attorney's (who are also both nice). It was very pleasant, except for.....wait for it......my boss has a karaoke machine......and uses it. Most of us weren't quite that drunk. :) But a few people sang.....poorly.
I got most of my holiday shopping done on Saturday, just a few more things to get. Went to dinner with my parents, who I actually haven't seen a lot lately, which is silly as I live a mile from them.
Work should be slow this week, though I've got some stuff to catch up on. And there should be a new Arrested Development script today (maybe the last one.....depends on if it gets sold to another network).
One week more and then I'll be on vacation for a week and a half. I so can not wait. I *really* *really* need a vacation.
