Heh. Okay....feeling silly today.

I figured out I've walked 23 out of the last 26 days! Go me! Today is my WW weigh in and I hope I do okay. My scale at home says I've lost about a pound. We'll see. I went out with Lisa for sushi last night and didn't go overboard. I walked about 45 minutes this morning. I need a real Ipod. My little MP3 player just doesn't have a lot of storage space, so I'm looking for recommendations on what to get. I ordered a cell phone! Finally! Oh wait...I think I said that yesterday.

I want to accomplish a couple of Mission 101 things this weekend. I still have some easy ones on the list that I can do. I really want to get the shelves done for the storage unit so I can straighten out the patio (which has wood and tools on it right now).

Someone stole the old boombox I left in the garage (which I was trying to get rid of anyway....so they did me a favor.) I hope they enjoy it, it didn't work very well. Heh.

I decided to do a website based on the Supernatural Trip-Tik that's been my exercise challenge. (Which is also a 101 task). I think it ought to be fun. Any advice from the web experts will be cheerfully accepted!

Work Front: I need to get "24" #2 done today (which is just reviewing the memo from the outside guys and making some notes for the attorney). Also the first two Earls start shooting on Monday so that is a priority. Then the next Vanished and the next Family Guy. I foresee working late all week.

So get with it!

MP3, I like iRiver because the ones upto 1 GB uses a regular AA battery. No charging on the PC or sending it in to have its battery replaced and they sound good. That company as bigger ones too. You can check out www.epinions.com and see what people are saying about MP3 players too.

I love the Ipod mini, but they don't make those anymore, the nano I'd be afraid of breaking it in half, the regular Ipod you can't slip into your pocket, if there is anywhere still selling the Ipod mini or maybe a used one, mine will go for 16 hours before it needs to be charged again (very convienent for a flight from California to England) you can buy a separate charger if you don't want to hook up to your computer, but as often as you are on the computer I wouldn't think that'd be a problem :). AA batteries I would find out how often they need to be replaced, batteries aren't cheap.

Cheers

I LOVE my video iPod. I've got a 30GB video and I can't imagine going back to life without it.

Things I like:
- I can load it full of all kinds of music (fast, slow, SCA, classical, etc) and not have to worry about running out of space
- I can make custom playlists of above said music so I can create perfect mixes for any situation
- It plays video!
- With the purchase of an Macally FM trasmitter I can play my iPod through both my car and home stereo's (it comes with adapters for both), thus completely getting rid of the need for a CD changer
- It's fairly small, I bought a nifty leather case for it that has a belt clip, but it fits in my pocket fine.
- Lots of content only available through iTunes (I found this great Celtic music podcast).

Things I don't like as much:
- My old ass computer doesn't like the new technology (I don't have USB 2.0)
- Sometimes finding a radio frequency that doesn't have a station near it is a bit tough (although not that tough)
- If you want to load a video you have to have it in iPod format (but there are plenty of convertors out there)
- The wheel can be a bit touchy at times, resulting in some things you didn't know it could (or would) do
