Car Woes, Day 21!!!
Aug. 15th, 2005 09:45 am*sigh* I really want my car back. Sunday (I think it's Sunday) I'm driving up to a party in Ventura and I'd really like to be driving my own car. (Though I wonder if I could catch a ride with someone in light of the cost of gas...) At any rate, I'd rather not be driving the rental.
I talked to James at the auto body place. Some of the parts they ordered weren't right so they have to re-order them. He sorta hopes they might have the car ready by the end of the week. I can only hope.
Things to focus on this week. I've *got* to get more exercise!!!! I'm reading in "Prevention" magazine a study where people who were told to walk 10,000 steps a day did better than those who were told to walk 30 minutes a day. (Well, doh....10,000 steps (for me) is about 3.5 miles, which (for me) would be about 70-75 minutes.) But the point of the study was the 10,000 steps people squeezed in extra walking in their daily lives then the once a day walkers. I've done the 10,000 steps things before with a pedometer, but the couple of pedometers I've tried weren't real accurate and they are kind of a pain. But I know how much time it generally takes me to do the 10,000 steps, so I'm going to track time. Goal for this week is to get 30 minutes everyday, and I'll step it up next week.
I've got to keep track of what I'm eating! Goal for this week is to write down everything. "If you bite it, write it".
Continue decluttering. Goal for the week, get to the bottom of the inbox on the desk.
Work Front: Do some.
SCA Front: Do something
Home Front: Get to Home Depot and order the tile and arrange for installation!
