Happiness is....

aliskyea working internet connection. My internet has been really spotty for the past week plus+ I could usually get to my email but everything else was intermittent. Sometimes I could get to Livejournal but not see pictures or comments. Sometimes I could get to Facebook but not to any of the apps. I could sometimes get to the Compendium Caidis but when I tried to do anything, it would tell me I wasn't connected to the internet or the site was down. Annoying and frustrating.
So today I tried to see if my laptop was better. I plugged it into my backup DSL (yes I have two....don't ask). And it was fine. I ran into cavalaxis online who suggested it might be the router. So I called Charles who suggested turning the router off, turning the computer off, waiting a bit, turning the router on and then the computer on. And son of a gun, it totally worked. I totally ought to be paying my friends for tech support. Everything is much happier in internet land and so am I.
Tonight I'm taking it easy. Tomorrow, scroll work and house cleaning.
