aliskyeBlack Rose Ball on Saturday was really really wonderful. Great food, great dancing, terrific people, good conversations, wonderful music, hall very close to my house. :)
I don't remember an event of this type I've enjoyed this much in a very long time. In some ways it seemed like a blast from the past, and in others it was very new and exciting. A great mix in my mind.
My thanks to everyone who worked on it, especially Angelina.
SCA Front: Tomorrow Eildih and I are having a project night. I plan to work on my sweet bag and get at the very least the central rose on the back done. Sometime over the weekend I really want to melt some pewter and test the new hot pot. I also need to sit down and do some scribal planning for January.
Home Front: Cleaning cleaning cleaning. Not done, that's what I have to do. Where does all the junk come from? It must be Giuseppe's darn gremlins.
Health Front: I got out for a walk today, just 1 mile but I did walk yesterday as well, so two days in a row. Yay me.
Work Front: Boy this one attorney has really been on my case. I'm becoming more and more glad that she's leaving (I think) next week. At least the attorney that she replaced is supposed to be coming back on Dec. 1. Perhaps things will return to what masquerades as normal around here.
I think that's all the news that's fit to print.
