I was gonna post something on the dreadful traffic in LA (taking 35 minutes to drive 7 miles just seems ridiculous to me), but I just got an announcement that my beloved boss is leaving to take another job. I shudder to think that he might be replaced with either of the two remaining department VPs. One is an idiot that doesn't even do his own work. The other, well....I always called her the artificial human cuz it felt like she was always just pretending to be nice with no real human emotion behind it. She's grown on me a bit over the years, but she's out on maternity leave right now, and frankly lacks the smarts to run the department I think.

I don't know if they will promote one of the two into the top spot or hire in some one else. I'm dreading any and all choices. Heh.....looks like I'll have to stop being late to work and such. :)

I am sorry to hear that! I hate changes like that! Hopefully they will find someone that will fit in well with the department and won't go around changing everything just to prove they can.
